Learn English With Music

Even if you can’t understand the language completely or at all, I think you can still understand music.  But, if you do want to learn English and also enjoy music, listening often is a great way to learn.  You don’t need to make extra time to do this either.  Turn on your itunes streaming radio or maybe you already have a stash of Western music you love, but just haven’t made an effort to understand the lyrics.  Play it while your washing the dishes, taking a shower, or doing other daily tasks.  Play your favorite tunes daily, so you become more and more familiar.

Learn English Movies

I spoke with a friend recently who is a non-native English speaker.  I asked him how he became so fluent and natural sounding with his English.  He never had formal lessons for any significant period of time, however he was very self-motivated and driven to learn on his own.  Here is what he told me he did:  Movies.  He watched lots of movies to learn to speak English naturally.  He played and replayed his favorite American movies over and over again.

Skype English learning isn’t for everyone.  You need to be careful and choose the right mode and then program that you feel will be right for you.  There are many things to consider before giving your credit card information to just anyone.  Also, sometimes if you’re too quick to jump into something, it can mean you’re going to be quick to get out.  So take your time and consider a few things before you sign up here or anywhere else.
